Past Exhibits Apr 26- May 13, 2008 : "Flow" new works by local San Antonio Artist James Saldivar who is a local San Antonio Artist and invites the audience into his mind to see what his art and "life" are all about. James believes "real" art has a mind and life of its own. Life and all its aspects take a drivers seat in the artists mind to help in the creation process.
His works are very semiotic and organic encompassing the many trials he’s lived/ lives in his life, they are soulful and very expressive whereas everything has a reason and within that reason are so many other reasons as to why "it” was done. "It" is another concept James is very intrigued by and has a very important role in his life and art. "It" is everything and nothing at the same time, "It" is the balance of life, the yin and the yang, positive and negative, good and bad etc. "It" is everything that life encompasses. "It" is so simple to understand, it's complicated. Saldivar is the owner of 2nd Sight Studio which was established in the latter part of 2007.
